Today was really fun. We drove to Cienfuegos to move into another hotel and even celebrated Jared's fifteenth birthday. On our way to Cienfuegos, we stopped at a rest stop and ended up running into a group of students from Hackley, which was really funny. A really cool part of the afternoon was when we ate lunch in Matanzas at Playa Girón, which is in the Bay of Pigs, on the way to Cienfuegos. We all took a lot of pictures and got to see the ocean which was really pretty. The rest of the day was fun because we had a lot of free time to go and hang out at the pool which was really nice, but dinner at the hotel was especially eventful because we were all trying to sign a hat to surprise Jared without him noticing. Eventually we all ate his cake with spoons instead of cutting it into pieces and it was really good. The woman who made his cake even came out of the kitchen to wish him a happy birthday and then they took a picture together. Happy Birthday Jared!
